Oklahoma Wins the 2016 Women's College World Series over Auburn

Paige Parker came out and picked up where she left off in game 1, sitting down the first three Auburn hitters.
Emily Carosone make a diving stop but can’t get Clifton at first. The overthrow caused a collision between Jade Rhoads and Caleigh Clifton which prompted conversations with the umpires by both coaches. The break in gameplay resulted in a “cheeroff” from the OU and Auburn fans until play resumed.
Carosone sat back on her heels booting a hard hit grounder from Knighten, allowing Clifton to get to third on the error. Carosone pumps a throw to first but the ball slips from her hands, allowing Clifton to take home and giving Knighten second with only one out.
Fake Aviu hits a routine ground ball to shortstop Whitney Jordan. Jordan sits back for the big hop but Aviu beats out the throw to score Knighten. Two errors by Carasone was enough to allow two unearned runs.

At the top of the second, Carlee Wallace lines a shot up the middle. Jade Rhodes singles through the 5-6 hole. Parker answers back with two strikeouts to diffuse the Tigers.
The Sooners had trouble handling the ball as Parker drops an easy chopper hit by Victoria Draper. Tiffany Howard and Kasey followed with two singles.
OU had four errors in the WCWS compared to four errors they had in the previous 20 games.
It was deja vu from last night's game as the bases were juiced for Carosone once again. Same situation but different outcome. Parker sits down Carsone with a change up outside.
Then, Wallace grounds to Kelsey Arnold for a 6-4-3 double play to end the inning leaving Auburn scoreless in the third.
In the top of the fourth, Jade Rhodes rocks her second home run off of Parker in series cutting the lead to one.
We didn't see the grand finale finish quite like last night's game. Parker retires the side to capture the National Title for the Oklahoma Sooners.
