I was very proud of the girls this week for their hard work and passion for the game. The girls said they were not leaving Colorado without a Championship, at that point us coaches knew we were going to get it done. - Brian Tidd, Manager

"The tournament was a success going 10-1 and winning 9 straight to end the tournament. The most important aspect for us this week was that we were able to showcase all of our great players throughout the week in front of their college coaches. All of our position players hit and played in every game throughout the week including the Championship game and that is very important to us as coaches to make this happen for our players."

Their pitching staff of Breanna Vasquez (UCF), Payton Tidd (Notre Dame), and Sydney Preston (uncommitted) is one of the top pitching combinations in the nation.

During the final four games on Sunday, Vasquez, Tidd, and Preston allowed six earned runs all day playing through the toughest bracket of Georgia Impact, Firecracker Brashear, Texas Glory, and Tennessee Fury. Team manager, Fernando Ornelas calls pitches and had the battery dialed in. Tidd drove in five RBIs with one bomb.

The Tennessee Fury team from the championship was very good and their players played exceptional with the small roster they had all week, they deserve everything they accomplished. I am sure all their parents and coaches are very proud. - Brian Tidd

I know our families and parents are very proud of our players and what they accomplish each and every year. We have the best kids and families in our Academy from our 9 year old team up to our 16 year old teams.
