USA Elite Select is excited to announce event information for the 2017 Select 30 All American National Camp. This year the All American National Camp will be hosted on August 18-20 during the 2017 National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Championship Series in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The NPF recently announced LSU and Tiger Park will host the 2017 NPF Championship Series. Once again USA Elite Select will bring together some of the top amateur, college, and professional fastpitch players all in one location!
The Select 30 All American National Camp will feature top players from across the country in the 2018 to 2023 graduation classes. These players will compete on the same field through two days of player evaluation and training conducted by the All American Scouting Network (AASN) and NPF players.
On the final day, the top 30 players from each graduation class will be selected to compete in the Select 30 All American Games. Each graduation class will be divided into two teams and will compete in two organized seven-inning games. The Games will be coached by current college athletes. The final selection of first- and second-team All Americans will be made after the Select 30 Games via selection show. Last year, the inaugural Games featured athletes committed to SEC, Pac-12, Big 12, ACC, and Big Ten Conferences.
Participants are invited to the Select 30 All American National Camp through various ways. Automatic invitations will be sent to 2016 Select 30 first-team All Americans as well as direct selects from our Futures All American Tryouts. Players may also be nominated by travel ball coaches, events, and directors.
For this year's event, USA Elite Select is excited to work with FloSoftball through the player nomination/invitation process, pre-event coverage leading up to August, and event coverage of the Select 30 Games. Select 30 will utilize FloSoftball's Hot 100 player rankings as part of the selection process. Hot 100 players will receive an automatic invitation to the 2017 Select 30 All American National Camp.
