Ole Miss Expected To Hire Jamie Trachsel As Head Softball Coach

After three seasons with the Gophers, Jamie Trachsel is expected to make the next leap in her coaching career to Ole Miss as reported by several news sources. Ole Miss softball also posted this tweet yesterday.

Trachsel led Minnesota to their first Women's College World Series appearance in her second season and held a 102-40-1 record during her time in Minneapolis. She replaces interim head coach Ruben Felix.

Before taking the head coaching position at Minnesota she coached at Iowa State and North Dakota State University.
