After six seasons, Texas Tech head softball coach Adrian Gregory resigned Tuesday following the program's review.

Concerning allegations were made against Gregory which led to the review to "assess the overall culture and student-athlete well-being within the program." 

"At this time, I have found it best to part ways with Texas Tech University and its softball program," Gregory said. "I have truly loved Lubbock and the relationships I have built here. I wish the current players and staff all the best as they move forward with future seasons."

Been the head coach since 2014, has had 7 transfers in 2 years. I lead the team in homeruns, was 3rd in batting average, 2nd in RBI’s, top 3 in slugging percentage, NFCA 1st team, and big 12 player of the week in week 2 and i still left because the coach was so messed up.

Not to forget in my exit meeting Adrian Gregory asks me why I don’t go to team functions that aren’t mandatory, I told her I had other personal obligations and she tells me, “Well I think that’s the devil keeping you in the dark.” It’s sad she’s trying to persuade you otherwise.
